<p>If you&#8217;re not familiar with <a href="http://www.metrolyrics.com/the-carpenters-lyrics.html"  rel="nofollow">The Carpenters</a>, they&#8217;re a brother/sister soft-rock duo who mellowed our airwaves in the 1970s with hits like <a href="http://www.metrolyrics.com/they-long-to-be-close-to-you-lyrics-the-carpenters.html"  rel="nofollow">Close to You</a> and <a href="http://www.metrolyrics.com/rainy-days-and-mondays-lyrics-the-carpenters.html"  rel="nofollow">Rainy Days and Mondays</a>, and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_Carpenter"  rel="nofollow">Karen Carpenter</a> famously died from complications from anorexia.</p>

<p>Although their new album is a 40th anniversary special, there are a lot of artists who release records after they pass on. <a href="http://www.metrolyrics.com/2pac-lyrics.html"  rel="nofollow">Tupac Shakur</a> and <a href="http://www.metrolyrics.com/nirvana-lyrics.html"  rel="nofollow">Nirvana&#8217;s Kurt Cobain</a> spring to mind.
