Britney Spears’s video for “Till the World Ends” was released today…and it’s awesome. In a throwback to her “Slave 4 U” video, “Till the World Ends” features BritBrit and a crowd of her most attractive friends hanging out and gyrating at an underground “Apocalypse” party. You know the old song and dance – there’s a lot of sweat, Britney rocks a spiky leather jacket, and sprinklers erupt for a triumphant ending. The video offers a glimpse into what might happen in the year 2012 – take a look for yourself and see if Brit and her entourage make it through the storm!

Her name is Kay, okay? Don’t forget it or you might be mentioned in one of her songs…

Kay’s a Canadian girl with mad steez who just released her first video aptly called My Name is Kay. Kay’s definitely got a funky and fun hip-hop vibe and her video proves that she’s got #swag. Hoppin’ around her hometown, Kay spreads her name (and gospel) to those who she’s dissed, missed or – gasp! – kissed. A departure from her candy-land bubblegum videos of the past, Katy Perry goes out-of-this-world for her E.T. video. Directed by Floria Sigismondi, known for her work with shock-rocker Marilyn Manson and Icelandic oddball Bjork, E.T. is all about the dark graphic images, extreme costumes, and the strange Discovery Channel-esque footage of wild animals. Even stranger (and pretty impressive) is the cosmic makeup Katy sports throughout, which somehow moves and shape-shifts on her face before our very eyes. Watch this video and let us know: do you think it was worth all the crazy hype?

One night, in a dark car body shop, Keri Hilson and Chris Brown met for a dance-rendezvous. There were lots of blue neon lights flashing and it was really sweaty in there. They were dancing a perfectly choreographed routine when they suddenly realized that a camera was recording them. This video has finally surfaced and they’ve decided to use it as the music video for their hot new collaboration One Night Stand. If you like Keri Hilson, you’ll watch this because you want to see her wearing really weird (but strangely flattering) green eyelashes and a Matrix-inspired leather trench coat. If you like Chris Brown, you might be watching this to see him without a shirt OR to see his new blonde hair in action.

Music Video: Black Eyed Peas – “Just Can’t Get Enough”

Only a week prior to the devastation in Japan, The Black Eyed Peas wrapped up their Lost In Translation themed music video for “Just Can’t Get Enough” – a fast-paced trip featuring the group members ridin’ solo through the country’s famous lights. The video is a beautiful ode to Japan’s bustling city life, and opens with this touching message from BEP:

“This video was filmed in Japan one week before the earthquake and tsunami. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you.”

The final shot also shows the band’s support of Red Cross relief efforts:

“Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to support relief efforts for the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami or go online to help at www.redcross.org”

Music Video: The National – ‘Conversation 16′

It make sense for a seriously buzzworthy band like The National to team up with John Slattery from the seriously buzzworthy TV show Mad Men to make a seriously buzzworthy video for the song “Conversation 16.”

If you still aren’t familiar with The National, you should know they’ve been making records since 2001, but are just now getting some much deserved attention thanks to their latest album High Violet.

The video for “Conversation 16” sees The National trying their best to make us laugh — and doing pretty darn well, I might add. The clip, directed by The Daily Show’s Scott Jacobson, features random National band member shots (clue – it’s the bearded dudes) in the midst of a fight over fellow Daily Show contributor Kristen Schaal, playing the role of President Of The United States. Slattery and random actor James Urbaniak (remember the shoe fetish guy in Sex & The City?) are the competitors attempting to win Schaal’s affections – watch the video and see who prevails!

Willow Smith – ’21st Century Girl’ Music Video

Fresh off the smash hit success of her debut song ‘Whip My Hair’, Willow Smith is back with a brand new single and music video, ’21st Century Girl’.

’21st Century Girl’ is a club shaker of a track. Set in the desert, the video opens with a bit of witchcraft, when a traveling witch(?) brings a dead desert flower to life in the form of Willow Smith. The camera pans out and we see Willow standing alone in the desert wasteland. But Willow knows how to get a party started, and turns what looks to be a sandy wasteland into her own urban dancefloor, as roads and skyscrapers suddenly appear out of the sand. Willow and her dance troupe proceed to seriously break it down in their new urban oasis. Watch it below.

Look for 21st Century Girl on a yet to be named debut album of Willow’s coming later this year.

The music video for J.Lo’s brand new hit “On The Floor,” featuring Pitbull, dropped to the web today.

As you might expect for a song like “On The Floor,” the video is essentially a massive dance party, inside of a massive club. Even at the age of 41, J.Lo clearly still knows how to work a dance floor. If you’ve been looking for a video to get you in the party mood this weekend, look no further.

Look for “On The Floor” to be included on J.Lo’s upcoming album “Love?,” due out in April.

Music Video: Lil’ Wayne – “6 Foot 7 Foot” feat. Cory Gunz

With Inception references aplenty, Lil’ Wayne’s new video for “6 Foot, 7 Foot” premiered today. Featuring a sample of Day-O (The Banana Boat Song) and produced by “A Milli” hitmaker Bangladesh, it’s the first single off his anticipated release Tha Carter IV, which is pushing for a March release.

It looks like Lil’ Wayne’s “dream within a dream” doesn’t just include falling into bathtubs in slow motion – he’s also into French bulldogs, lasagna, and (surprise, surprise) gorgeous models. Weezy even makes a couple of costume changes, going from a geek-chic getup in a blazer and glasses to his signature wifebeater tanktop. Check it out below.

Indie rock band The Strokes have released a music video for their newest single “Under Cover of Darkness” off their upcoming album Angles. In the event that you’ve been living under a rock, you should know that this is kind of big news, as it is the band’s first album since ’06

The video follows the band mates as they play the song inside a cavernous mansion, and ends with a slightly ominous scene inside of an empty concert hall. Watch it below.

Look for the song on the album “Angles,” out March 22nd.

Music Video: Lady Gaga – “Born This Way”

We were expecting a lot from Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” video for a number of reasons, but mainly ’cause every single video from Lady Gaga so far has made for great water-cooler talk. After finally watching “Born This Way” this morning, we’re proud to report that it does not buck the trend.

The “Born This Way” music video clocks in at over 7 minutes. Beginning with a 50s sci-fi styled intro, which she titles The Manifesto of Mother Monster, Gaga gives us a bit of thematic backstory. The story goes something like this: Gaga gives birth to a new race which “bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom.” But the ‘eternal mother’ also gives birth to evil. So on goes the battle of good vs. evil as Gaga and her Little Monsters dance around on the dark lit stage to Born This Way.

Watch the “Born This Way” video below. Oh, and be warned, if you think you might have a problem with a pretty realistic birth scene, then you might want to think twice about clicking play. Just sayin’.
