Remember this club banger from summer 2009? It’s Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor”, which is distinctly used in Beyonce’s girl power – barely any manipulation at all. Makes sense, since Major Lazer’s Diplo is lending his production chops to her highly anticipated album, due out in June.

Considered one of the best bands to come out of Canada, DFA1979 split up in 2006 and fans never expected to see the pair reunite…until now! Earlier this year, the dance-punk duo announced they were reconciling to play the prestigious Coachella festival, and people from all over are making the trek to Cali for their sure-to-be killer reunion!

If you’re a child of the 90’s, you might remember Robyn as a one-hit wonder with her song Show Me Love but little did we know here in North America that this Swedish popstar was just getting started. She continued to make it big all over Europe and soon she was known once again in North America as the uber-cool, edgy star she is today. See her at Coachella if you’re looking to dance the night away to electronic, poppy beats.

Why do so many awesome acts come out of Sweden? This folk singer/songwriter has been compared to the legendary Bob Dylan and if you listen to his music, you’ll see why. He has amazing guitar, banjo, AND piano chops and his voice will blow you away. Make sure to catch this act for a nice break from the craziness of Coachella crowds and loud music.

It’s Dani Shay, a 22-year-old Florida native who says she’s never even heard of the Biebs because she “doesn’t watch much television”. Shay’s been raided by JB fans in shopping malls because she looks so much like the infamous hair-swooper! Let’s take a quick moment to notice her talent and sidestep the whole look-a-like thing for just a sec, though:

Shay’s Youtube channel showcases her unique voice, and with all this recent publicity, she could be on her way to becoming the next big online sensation.
