Happy Bday Justin Bieber and Ke$ha!

A birthday is special. But it’s even more special when two huge pop-stars celebrate their bday on the same day. And it’s even MORE special when they celebrate together with a huge birthday bash, and we’re invited!

Okay, so we completely made that last part up. We have no idea if they plan on having a party together. And we’re definitely not invited. But we can still dream can’t we?

Here’s a few things that we would bring to the imaginary double bday bash for Ke$ha and the Biebz:

1. Purple Glitter Balloons

Is there a better way of combining Justin’s love for everything purple and Ke$ha’s obsession with things that glitter? We sincerely doubt it. These are a must have.

2. Fruit Punch

This one’s tough. Not because we can’t think of a quality punch recipe, but because if we know anything about Ke$ha, she’ll try her best to spike it with her famous “Bottle of Jack.” That’s a no-no for our Biebz, considering he’s only turning 17. On second thought, maybe it’d be better to bring separate punch bowls.

3. Our Dancing Shoes

We all know Bieber loves to bust a move. And so does Ke$ha (Obvs! Her new album is called I Am The Dance Commander + I Command You To Dance!). But the big kicker here is that, if it’s a party for Bieber, you know Usher is gonna be there. Can you imagine him leading everyone through a group dance choreography session? OMG to the max!

We should have expected some kind of stunt from Lady Gaga at this year’s Grammy’s, but this one is straight out of left field. Check out the video of Gaga’s grand entrance:

Okay, so we get the “Born This Way” egg metaphor, but we’ve still got a lot of questions that need to be answered. Like, what could possibly be going on in Gaga’s scrambled brain to inspire such a stunt?  Will this go over easy with the fashion critics? Will the Lady Gaga fever finally boil over after her performance tonight? We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess :P

Trouble in TV Land! It looks like the newest video from 30 Seconds To Mars has been banned from the airwaves!

A ratings committee reviewing the video concluded that, in its current form, the video is to be restricted from network TV play! Why? Apparently there’s some pretty scandalous material in the video, including simulated violence and bondage! Whoa.

Lead singer Jared Leto posted a letter he received about the video’s content to his website, JaredLeto.com to let us know some of the things the committee found unacceptable. Check it out below:

Michael Jackson’s people have released the first single “Breaking News” from the pop star’s posthumous album, Michael.

When word got around last week that “Breaking News” would be released today, we’ll admit, we started to feel a bit uneasy. But that feeling has reached a whole new level of creepy now that we’ve had a full listen to the song.

“Breaking News” is a song directed at the media and paparazzi who hounded Michael Jackson for much of his career. That much is pretty clear right off the bat. The King of Pop begins, “Everybody wanting a piece of Michael Jackson. Reporters stalking the moves of Michael Jackson.”

Ah, but here’s where the Creepy Meter goes off the charts. The next two lines of lyrics are as follows: “Just when you thought he was done, he comes to give it again.”

If I wasn’t so sensible, I’d think I just heard the ghost of Michael Jackson singing.

You’ve gotta see this! Earlier today, the Bieber posted a TwitVid of his newfound rap skills. Check out Shawty Mane (Justin’s rap alias) spitting his freestyle called “Speaking In Tongues” below. THUG LIFE, eh Biebs? LOL. In all honestly though, these freestyle rhymes aren’t so bad. And let’s be honest, if the kid makes a rap album, who isn’t gonna wanna hear it just out of curiosity? Just sayin’.

As you’d expect, lotsa folks are up in arms about the sexiness of Miley’s look these days. Maybe you haven’t taken a side yet. But we have good news! To help you take a position on the debate, we’ll walk through the video together:

Looks to me like the people that have a problem with Miley’s look have a bit of a point.

“The Sky’s The Limit” is the fifth single off of his self-titled album released earlier this year. The vid features Jason singing and dancing in the middle of a house of mirrors, which looks A LOT like the set used by Scottish pop-star Alex Gardner for his “I’m Not Mad” video. Uh oh, I smell a controversy brewing!

A couple of nights back, Justin made an appearance on the show to promote his new movie The Social Network. If you didn’t know, legendary Hip-Hop group The Roots are the show’s house band. When Jimmy and Justin asked The Roots for some help with a Sugarhill Gang track, the duo began a medley that included everything from A Tribe Called Quest to Snoop Dogg to Eminem to Jay-Z, taking us through a brief but impressive history of famous hip-hop tracks.

To all of you that have been living in a cave and haven’t heard: Britney Spears is finaly making her star debut on Glee tonight. After a long few months of anticipation and Twitter updates, the once teen pop-star sensation is taking the halls of William McKinley High School by storm this very evening.

A lot has been made about the song choices for the episode tonight. And it looks like we’re gonna see a many of the pop-star’s biggest hits performed. But rather than stir the rumor mill so close to the episode, we thought we’d give you the video for the track that we’re hoping makes the cut more than any of the others. It’s the video for the smash hit breakthrough track that got the career of Ms. Spears started “…Baby One More Time,” from way back when the pop-star was just 16. It remains her best selling single to date. Check it out below.

During the set of Semi Precious Weapons, friends of and often opening act to Lady Gaga, the always attention grabbing Gaga stormed the set and proceeded to crowd surf in some VERY provocative gear. Naturally, more than a few people copped a feel. I guess she truly is a pop star of the people. Check out the video below for a visual.

The clip below cuts between Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok” to demonstrate to you that they are literally THE SAME SONG, both cut from the same cookie cutter formula that nearly all disposable radio pop is these days. Though I’ve known this it a long time, you can’t dispute evidence like this. Your honor, I rest my case.

Maybe it’s about time we mix it up a bit. Whadda ya think?

So, Justin Bieber and his handlers have begun a voting campaign for his upcoming My World Tour to determine, which countries “want Justin the most?” Naturally, there’s been an attempt to sabotage it.

The online community 4chan have eagerly gone ahead and begun a campaign for the lil Biebs to play a show in North Korea (via URLesque). Now, if you’re not familiar with the North Korean political landscape, let’s just say it isn’t very accommodating to tourists. It looks like the group is set on putting the kid in harms way, and at this point in time, the campaign appears to be working as North Korea has amassed some 495,000 votes. The contest ends sometime tomorrow night, so keep your fingers crossed.

What’s that you ask? Did I vote for North Korea? You bet I did! Say hello to Kim Jong Il for me, Justin.

Some interesting new photos that look like Lady Gaga have been floating around the net since yesterday. The strange photos were posted by her stylist, Nicola Formichetti, and are to appear in the September issue of Vogue Hommes Japan. I wondered what all the commotion was about, so I had a look at the photos and … WHAT THE? IT’S A DUDE!

The photos claim to be of model, Jo Calderone, but most people are claiming that the pics are of Lady Gaga dressed in drag. And if you ask me, it’s definitely her.
