Last night, American Idol made its long awaited return to TV, sporting a couple of brand new judges. But worry not! Although a few things have changed, there’s still plenty of what we’ve come to know and love about American Idol, including the always entertaining auditions. As usual, some auditions were good, some were bad, and some were really bad. Check out our two picks for the best and worst auditions of last night’s premiere episode below.
The Worst:
We’re sorry to say this Miley, but the “Party In The USA” montage that showed up on last night’s episode was cringe worthy. We know it’s not your fault and all, but we’ve gotta direct our frustration somewhere. It all started with Yoji Pop’s bizarre version of Pary In The U.S.A., complete with an awkward dance routine, and ended with a bunch of clips from other terrible Party In The U.S.A. renditions. Ugh. Watch it below, if you dare.
The Best:
We couldn’t resist the story of Travis Orlando that closed out the episode last night. The feature they did on him growing up in a rough part of the Bronx really had us urging him on to the next round. Although he seemed a bit nervous, you can tell that he’s got a great voice. Spoiler alert: we’re definitely looking forward to seeing him in the next round :P Check out his audition below.

The very heart of your writing whilst appearing reasonable originally, did not work well with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you actually managed to make me a believer but only for a short while. I still have got a problem with your leaps in logic and one would do nicely to help fill in those breaks. When you can accomplish that, I would undoubtedly end up being amazed.

This weblog appears to get a large ammount of visitors. How do you advertise it? It offers a nice unique spin on things. I guess having something useful or substantial to give info on is the most important factor.
