T.I. and Christina Aguilera have teamed up to bring us a brand new song. The track, “Castle Walls,” is the next single off of T.I.’s upcoming No Mercy album.
The song, “Castle Walls,” shows off a side of the rapper we haven’t seen before. T.I.’s troubles are clearly taking a toll on him. In a hip-hop genre where vulnerabiility is typically looked down upon, T.I. wears his emotions on his sleeve here. He raps about his life and many riches — cars, boats, houses, maids, butlers, and more. Sounds pretty great, right? Only problem is, the guy isn’t happy. If anything “Castle Walls” is a testament to the timeless saying, “Money can’t buy happiness.”
