When Uffie originally hit the scene back in 2006, she became an internet darling. Music blogs were abuzz with her sizzling debut hit, “Pop The Glock.” And it seemed like only a matter of time before Uffie was seeing massive radio play.
Alas, here we are in 2010 with Uffie just recently releasing her debut album to less than ideal fanfare. It’s been quite a turbulent few years for the singer, but maybe she’s back on the right track. Although, it doesn’t help that Ke$ha already took the forefront of the electro-rap/pop genre, especially when some feel she blatantly ripped off Uffie to get to where she is now *cough* M.I.A. *cough*.
Anyways, Uffie released a video for a track featuring Pharrell Williams entitled “ADD SUV” off of her debut album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans today. It’s got a vintage L.A. feel to it, but not just because Pharrell has a zany 70s style mustache. The car’s are old too :P.
