As you may or may not be aware, Megan Fox is a big movie star. Naturally then, having her star in your music video sounds like a great idea, right? Wait, uh oh, where did that go wrong?
I’m gonna come out and say it right off the bat: I hate this music video. I’m not sure why, but it could be the rich and glamorous actors that are cast as trailer trash, the faux fisticuffs that suggest some sort of rapturous love hate relationship, the fact that Eminem is rapping in a wheat field, or that Rihanna snarles her lip like Elvis every time she says “I like the way it hurts” (Author’s note: it’s probably this last reason). Oh, for the sake of neutrality, I should mention that I’m not an Eminem fan. Call me biased if you like.
