Fresh on the heels of debuting the title track “Teenage Dream” from her upcoming album, Katy Perry has dropped another pop gem on the masses. In a change of pace, she’s gone in the opposite direction of her first two tracks. The song, “Not Like The Movies,” is a beautiful piano ballad, that really shows Katy in a way that we haven’t seen her before. I have to admit, this kind of versatility is something I never expected to see out of her, and, needless to say, I’m very impressed. It may be a little early to say, but, with what is sure to be a blistering run of 3 straight pop tracks, the name Katy Perry could be mentioned more than a few times come Grammy season.
